Ontario’s network of Small Business Enterprise Centres assists new entrepreneurs to assess what is required to startup a new business and provides support to early-growth stage businesses through their first five years. The government has Business Advisors in 12 regional offices who provide consulting services to Ontario’s innovative, SME growth firms, and network with municipalities and key associations to help facilitate community and economic development.
Our Business Advisors work with thousands of companies across Ontario to assess their situation, support development of plans and provide options for achieving their goals. Business Advisors assist with export marketing strategies, provide access to programs in R & D and new technology, and develop opportunities for strategic alliances through the Opportunity Alert program. They also link firms with the right people, information and business resources to enhance competitiveness and profitability.
